Who i am & What I Do

My passion is empowering individuals of all ages to express themselves confidently through music. Enhancing inner awareness and refining personal self mastery is fundamental to effective musical training and leads to enriched life experiences as well.

A member of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association (ARMTA), I am as enthusiastic about teaching music as I am with my own continuous music and personal growth. 

Music With Linda operated in Edmonton AB from 1995 – 2023 when I taught both at my private studio and as Music School Director of Mill Woods Music Ltd. (2004 – 2014).  In 2024 my teaching journey made its way to Innisfree, Mannville, & Lloydminster and now, beginning in September 2026, Music With Linda will also be in Vermilion, AB. 

Over the years, my students have ranged in age from 4 – 74; some playing purely for pleasure while others have followed the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) curriculum. My students have been recognized for high achievement from the Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association and Royal Conservatory of Music as well as receiving awards and recognition from the Edmonton Music and Speech Arts Festival, Contemporary Showcase Edmonton, and the Lloydminster Kiwanis Music Festival. 

Whether a newcomer to musical training or someone who has worked with me for several years, those who engage with the Music With Linda experience know they are entering a welcoming space where we explore music and ourselves with curiosity, there is motivation and enthusiasm for personal as well as musical mastery, and everyone enjoys the experience.
